On October 10, 2026, ROBUST prepared a batch of R05200 Tantalum Rods for shipment to a customer in France.
The rods measure Ø5 × 300 mm and are intended for laboratory testing. The shipment was arranged by FedEx, with an expected arrival date of October 12.
R05200 Tantalum Rods for Laboratory Testing
Before packing, each rod was checked for dimensional accuracy and visible surface condition.
For this type of small-diameter refractory-metal material, straightness, diameter consistency and surface protection are important because the customer may use the rods directly for testing or additional machining.
Protective Packing for International Courier Transport
The rods were cushioned with thick foam to reduce collision and abrasion during transit.
A wooden case was then used as the outer package to provide additional protection during courier handling and international transportation.

R05200 is an unalloyed tantalum grade included in ASTM B365 for tantalum rod and wire.
For sourcing projects, the required grade, diameter, length, tolerance, surface condition and any certification requirements should be confirmed before production.
